I support and love Dalnet although I will not support BAD elements in dalnet at any level.

The following is information for you to look through and make your own opinion.

Oz6.0 - author lite - was released 15th Feb 2001
ThaSaint2000 - author ThaSaint - was released the following month.                                 
ThaSaint2000 is a Rip of OZ6.0 and  was publicly released on just about every scripting site.

Oz6.2 - author lite - was released 22nd April 2001
ThaSaintFinal - author ThaSaint -  was released June/July 2001
ThaSaintFinal is a Rip of Oz6.2  and  was publicly released on just about every scripting site.

The following is not a Rip of my work as i do not spam.  I do my best to stop spam ThaSaintly Inviter by ThaSaint was released early to mid 2001
ThaSaintly Inviter was released publicly by ThaSaint
ThaSaintly Inviter was used to spam on Dalnet and following are some logs of spam and take note some of the bots showing the following were official Dalnet mass adds bots that use to relay spam to #massads at that time.

ThaSaint became an IRCop on Dalnet 5 months or so after Ripping and releasing my Scripts.

March 2002 - Admitted to his AA he was the ripper and would retract it from all sites.
As of 10th April 2002 It can still be downloaded from two sites, (withheld)
ThaSaint was made IRCop on dalnet just 5 months after ripping Oz6.2

I Have followed this path in its entirety as follows.

VII. Disciplinary Action.
A. The procedure for registering a complaint about an IRC Operator or Admin is:
Try to resolve the problem by talking to the IRC Operator or Admin directly. If there is still a problem, report it to the Admin on whose server he or she has an O: line. In the case of an Operator with more than one O: line, try to report to the Admin of the server the Operator was oper'd on at the time of the event, if possible. If the problem remains unresolved after the Admin has investigated and made a decision, a report can be sent to the EB with supporting documentation.

I have informed ThaSaint Admins and Executive Board!!!!

 If only adding of IRCops after a server was linked was sent to the mailing lists as is the server application, this may never happen. Also i have chosen to make this public even after numerous warnings that i may lose my channels and nicks.

You may choose to msg ThaSaint about this although i know you will be met with statements stating this never happened. Unfortunately it did, and was confirmed by ThaSaint's admin by stating all scripts produced by ThaSaint will be removed promptly from all public download sites. Also the Eb on dalnet confirmed this and said it was a matter for ThaSaints admins only, and they would not intervene. For copies of prior emails Email lite

Conclusion. I will not use dragons.ca.us.dal.net while on dalnet. Further more all new oz scripts released will not be able to use dragons.ca.us.dal.net. Its better to be safe than sorry.
